Hello! I’m Ellie, a therapist in Denver specializing in therapy and EMDR for women, LGBTQ+ folks with PTSD, C-PTSD, relationship issues, and anxiety. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every client feels safe and seen.

I tend not to make promises in therapy, but here are two things I know to be true:

You  deserve  to  be  well

About Ellie

(If you disagree, we should definitely talk!)

No matter where you are on your healing journey, I will meet you where you’re at. Collaboratively, you and I will resolve the old stuff holding you back, cultivate skills you can use to manage current stressors, and help you move away from shame and towards acceptance.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I use techniques from various psychological disciplines to tailor my work to fit each client’s needs. I am EMDR-trained and enjoy using EMDR with clients whose trauma symptoms compromise their daily life or sense of self. I also utilize:

Therapeutic Approach

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Intersectional Feminist Therapy
After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I started my mental health career as a board-certified music therapist in Boston. Eventually, I decided to broaden my scope of practice and completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan. In search of some sunshine, I moved to Colorado and currently practice in Denver as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in the state of Colorado, which means I can only work with clients who are physically located within the state.

My license number is CSW.09928612 and my NPI is 1275233868

A little bit about my practice:

Do you find it easier to be kind to others than to yourself? Or maybe you worry that people would be disappointed if they knew the "real" you. Therapy is a safe space to cultivate the self-compassion needed to tackle mental health challenges, find ease, and thrive. Let's work together to help you show up for yourself - I promise you deserve it.

You can choose to see me virtually from the comfort of your home or in person at 1872 South Pearl Street, Denver, CO, 80210.
